The fallout from Lance Stephenson’s choke gesture after LeBron James missed a free throw in Game 3 has been mixed. James himself wouldn’t even give a response to the gesture, but LeBron’s teammate Juwan Howard reportedly took offense to the gesture. According to reports, Howard attempted to confront Stephenson on Saturday before the Heat took the court for practice. And if that were not enough, Howard confronted Stephenson during shoot around on Sunday right before Game 4. Here are the events from Saturday via The Indianapolis Star: As the Heat were making their way to the Pacers practice court on Saturday, Howard turned down the hallway that leads to the Pacers locker room, asking – and cussing – where he could find Stephenson. Dahntay Jones, who was outside the locker room with teammate Paul George, a Pacers employee, his son and his mother, went and talked to Howard before the 39-year-old Howard turned around and went toward the practice court with the rest of his teammates. “T...

Heat's Howard, Pacers' Stephenson have pregame confrontation

Miami Heat veteran Juwan Howard and Indiana Pacers guard Lance Stephenson had to be separated during a confrontation at Sunday's shootaround prior to Sunday afternoon's Game 4 in Indianapolis, according to ESPN. The two had been involved in a scuffle in Indianapolis on March 26 that led to Howard being ejected. On Saturday, Stephenson angered some of the Heat players...

Howard has issues with Stephenson

I would say the Indiana Pacers player making the most noise in their series with the Miami Heat is probably Roy Hibbert. The Pacers big man has been playing phenomenally and is getting a lot of positive attention. A guy getting noticed for completely different reasons is Lance Stephenson. Stephenson has quickly gained notoriety as being the immature clown who gave LeBron James...

Pittman delivers brutal elbow on Stephenson

Just when you thought that the Miami Heat/Indiana Pacers series couldn't get any more flagrant, check out this end of game foul by Miami's Dexter Pittman on Indiana's Lance Stephenson. Watch as Pittman throws a flying elbow that knocks Stephenson off balance: If Lance Stephenson jogs you're memory, he was the Pacers reserve who gave Lebron James the choke sign.

LeBron James Dismisses Lance Stephenson's Choke Gesture, Says 'I'm Not Even Going to Give Him the Time' (Video)

Lance Stephenson's play has never garnered much attention, but his gesture during the third quarter of Game 3 has gotten people talking. The Pacers guard could be seen grabbing his neck in a choking manner after LeBron James missed a free throw during Indiana's victory over Miami. Stephenson has since apologized, but James was rather dismissive when asked about the incident...

Pacers reserve apologizes for choking gesture

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Pacers reserve guard Lance Stephenson apologized for making a choking gesture toward LeBron James. The NBA's MVP wasn't so forgiving. In fact, he didn't even know he had been mocked. James said Saturday that he was unaware that Stephenson had been caught by cameras in front of Indiana's bench wrapping his hands around his throat after the Miami...

LeBron James has no response for apologetic Lance Stephenson

LeBron James had no response for Lance Stephenson when the media asked him about the choking gesture given by the Pacers guard during Game 3 of the Miami-Indiana playoff series. James said he didn’t know he was mocked by Stephenson after he missed a technical foul free throw in the third quarter on Thursday. Asked for a response, LeBron was dismissive of Stephenson. “Lance Stephenson...

Dexter Pittman clotheslines Lance Stephenson with flagrant foul (Video)

Miami Heat center Dexter Pittman committed a flagrant foul by clotheslining Indiana Pacers guard Lance Stephenson with under 20 seconds left in Tuesday night's Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference semifinal playoff series. Pittman nailed Stephenson in the throat, and with the Heat holding a 35 point lead at the time, the play was completely uncalled for. Hopefully Pittman...

LeBron brushes off Stephenson controversy

In the pantheon of players essentially blown off over the years by LeBron James, a list that includes DeShawn Stevenson among others, add the name of Lance Stephenson. While James would have had to have hid in a cave for days to avoid the video, he insisted he had gone two days without seeing the seldom-used Indiana Pacers guard giving him the choke sign after James missed a technical...

Dexter Pittman’s Flagrant Foul on Lance Stephenson

The NBA playoffs have been quite crazy this season, with former champions getting eliminated with ease (Dallas, the Lakers) and others facing off in what can best be classified as brawls. One such case of physical play has been the series between the Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat. The Pacers initiated some of the extra antics with trash talking and on-the-court confrontations...

The Miami Heat Need To Beat The Pacers

The Eastern Conference’s playoff action thus far has been a weird mix of injuries and disappointments.  Dwight Howard was out from the start, Derrick Rose didn’t make it through four quarters, and the Knicks were defeated by a fire extinguisher, if I’m remembering correctly.  Of the four teams remaining, it’s clearly a one-of-these-things-is-not-like-the-other situation...

Heat, Pacers game saved from a streaker

The Miami Heat-Indiana Pacers Game 5 has been full of antics. Whether it be Lance Stevenson giving Miami the choke sign, Juwan Howard taking exception to Lance's act, Danny Granger's tough guy act to the plenty of hard fouls in Game 5. But perhaps this could have been the proverbial cherry on top of the cake for this series. According to Fox Sports Florida, police arrested...
