We are 10 days away from the February 21 NBA trade deadline and while things seem relatively quiet now, they are sure to pick up in the next couple of days. Players could have to move to a completely new city at the drop of a hat, and (with the exception of a few players with trade veto capability) there is nothing they can do about it. During this high-stress stretch of the NBA season, Denver Nuggets coach George Karl does what he can to try and keep his players at peace, telling them it is really out of their hands. "There's this solid anxiety to this period of time for players," Karl said. "So, how I can calm that and make them feel like, 'Yeah, a trade could happen, but it's a small, small percentage.'" It is not much, but I am sure any attempt at consolation goes a long way. Karl has also learned over the years to try as hard...

Nuggets coach George Karl admits he has made up fake trade rumors before with his fellow coaches just to see if they make the newspaper.
You have learned well George Karl.
What in the world is wrong with sports these days? I swear! If I didn't know better I would think this was the Year of the Rat since so many people are telling on themselves and/or their teammates.
The latest rat to come out of nowhere is Denver Nuggets head coach George Karl. For some stupid reason he thought it was a good idea to come...
Head Coach George Karl. 1,107 regular season career wins. 399 regular season wins as the coach of the Denver Nuggets. But none of that matters because every loss – regular season and the post season – is George Karl’s fault. He’s the cancer taking the mighty franchise that is the Denver Nuggets with him. He’s [...]The post Start The “Fire George Karl” Chaos Engine....
The Denver Nuggets were looking to extend their 9 game win streak to 10 if they could have beaten the Boston Celtics. It didn’t happen. The Nuggets have played some mighty fine basketball lately, They were on a run and winning game after game, they got to 9 wins in a row and were looking to get their latest win streak to double digits. They fell short of that with a 118-114 loss...
Things didn’t start off like the Denver Nuggets had hoped when they took on the Toronto Raptors Tuesday, as Denver was missing two starters, Andre Iguodala and Danilo Gallinari, and a rotation player, Wilson Chandler. Toronto had an early double-digit lead and it only got worse when DeMar DeRozan Blake Griffin’d Timofey Mozgov during the second quarter. The post DeMar DeRozan...
The Denver Nuggets are riding a roller coaster – mainly just an increase in altitude (get it?) – the past two months; going from a 17-15 team to a 33-18 team. A team that’s fighting for the third seed as other Western Conference teams meander from winning; Denver is making strides. Denver has gone 22-6 [...]The post Is It Time To Buy Into the Denver Nuggets? The Survey Says...
DeMar DeRozan does his best Blake Griffin reenactment on Timofey Mozgov in Tuesday’s matchup vs. the Nuggets and throws a hammer down on the center:
Yes you read the title right. Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried is scheduled to participate in this year’s Dunk Contest. And reportedly it appears he is considering using a bowling ball during the competition. Per Denver Post: “I thought about that, but I haven’t practiced it or anything. I really don’t know if I’m [...]
The Boston Celtics hosted the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night in what ended up being a triple-overtime thriller. The Celtics managed to win the game 118-114 behind Paul Pierce’s 27 points.
While the game was full of highlights, perhaps the best highlight was when the oft vocal Kevin Garnett told Kenneth Faried to “get that sh$t out of her n$%#a”. He yelled it loud enough that...
