Before the start of the NBA season, and during the NBA lockout, Denver Nuggets free-agent Kenyon Martin signed a contract to play for the Chinese Basketball Association’s Xinjiang Gyang Hui, hoping that he would be able to return in time for the start of the NBA season. Martin knew that if the NBA lockout ended during the CBA season he would be unable to come back to the NBA. Martin took the chance anyway as talks between NBA ownership and the players union were not looking good and a deal did not look imminent. Well we all know how that played out. Will now that Xinjiang Gyang Hui’s season is almost over Martin is looking to come back to the NBA and there are six teams who have lined up for his services. Mark J. Miller of Yahoo! Sports reported earlier today that there are six teams interested in Martin, the Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs, Atlanta Hawks, and New York Knicks.
