Beyond The Buzzer:
Kenyon Martin and Chris “Birdman” Andersen have both been great late-season additions for their respected teams, but Martin got the best of his former Nuggets teammate with this major throwdown in the fourth quarter of the Knicks 102-90 victory in Miami Tuesday. Martin had 9 points and 6 rebounds in the win.

New York Knicks teammates Carmelo Anthony and Steve Novak apparently put a little wager on the Elite Eight matchup between their alma maters this past weekend. And since Syracuse defeated Marquette to reach the Final Four, Novak had to wear an orange tracksuit on Monday.
Of course, Anthony made sure there were pictures of the occasion, as he posted them to his Instagram account...
The New York Knicks confidence level is flying sky high right now, and surely enough they’ve earned it. With currently an eight game winning streak under their belt, the Knicks resume is looking much more credible towards their case of being among the NBA’s elite teams. With numerous questions surfacing the past few months regarding the Knicks being merely a .500 team, their...

Despite the presence of stars LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Deron Williams, and even our own Carmelo Anthony, J.R. Carmelo Anthony scored 40 points, Raymond Felton had three straight baskets in a key spurt, and the New York Knicks beat the Atlanta Hawks 95-82 on Wednesday night for their 10th straight victory.
Anthony, coming off a 50-point effort against Miami on Tuesday, scored 24 points in the first half. He shot 17 of 27 from the field and was 5 for 6 from the free throw line.
Did Jr Smith lock up the 6th man of the year award?
My, how times have changed.
Just fifteen days ago, every sports show airing in New York was ripping the Knicks (losers of four in a row at that time) and saying that there was no chance of them getting past the second round of the playoffs.
Two weeks later, those same Knicks—winners in their last eight contests—have the Big Apple buzzing with talk of the Eastern Conference...
