Yesterday we reported that Houston Rockets first-round draftee Royce White, was trolling Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant via Twitter on Wednesday night following their loss to the team he has yet to play for this season. Well per the Houston Chronicle, when told of White’s cyber taunts towards him, Durant asked a legitimate question. “Who is that?” Durant said. When told that White is the Rockets rookie first-round pick from Iowa State, Durant seemed to remember. “I haven’t seen him on the bench,” Durant said. “He hasn’t played against us so I’m not worried about guys that’s not even in our series. Ain’t that the guy that can’t, that’s afraid to fly? I wish him the best. If I see him next year, I’ll let him know who we are.” Durant wasn’t done there either, saying that White’s words doesn’t move him in any way. “I don’t get fired up off stuff,” Durant said. “I get fired up just playing this game, enjoying the game. Like I said, I wish him the best. I wish he could have played and really felt this intensity for a playoff game, but I guess watching on TV is better.” White isn’t doing himself any favors right now, from the time he’s been drafted he’s being saying and doing the wrong things in perpetual motion  and making himself out to be a total headcase. I don’t see how someone in his position could justify publicly taunting Durant, he constantly sets himself up to be ridiculed.

Durant responds to Royce White

Kevin Durant responded to Rockets D-Leaguer Royce White, who said that the Thunder were looking shaky after losing Games 4 and 5.

What's going on with Kevin Durant?

Let's call it an "edge" Kevin Durant had in the Houston series. It's not that Durant has ever been soft, but since he entered the NBA he has been one of the most likable stars in American sports. Something changed, though, in this first-round series against the Houston Rockets. In the series-clinching 103-94 win Friday in Houston, Durant got a technical foul for...

Royce White Taunts Kevin Durant On Twitter After Thunder Lose To Rockets

Royce White is an enigma in the greatest sense of the word.  White is famous for suffering from an anxiety disorder, but a lot of his actions don’t scream of a disorder, or being anxious about much of anything. White who was drafted by the Houston Rockets, but has spent the whole season between the D-League and countless tv appearances, was back at it again last night. White’s...

Kevin Durant on Royce White: ‘Ain’t that the guy that’s afraid to fly?’

More often than not, taunting an opponent on Twitter is something that will make a player look bad. If you are a D-League player taunting an NBA team and one of the best players in the game, you are always going to look bad. Royce White gave us a perfect example of that earlier this week when he sent a tweet at Kevin Durant about how the Oklahoma City Thunder are starting to look...

Video: Kevin Durant strikes a low blow to Chandler Parsons

Kevin Durant had a strong showing on Friday night as he helped the Oklahoma City Thunder advance to the Western Conference Semifinals.  Durant posted 27 points and eight rebounds on the stat sheet  in the Thunder’s first win over the Houston Rockets since starting point guard Russell Westbrook went down. The Thunder fought back from an eight-point third quarter deficit to win...

Royce White trolls Kevin Durant on Twitter following Rockets win over Thunder

Royce White hasn’t played a minute of NBA basketball this season. As a matter of fact, we don’t know if or when we’ll ever see him touch the court. On Wednesday night, White was a spectator like the rest of us enjoying playoff basketball as his Rockets faced off against the Oklahoma City Thunder for their playoff livelihood. Following the Rockets scrappy comeback win, White...

Rockets Player calls out Durant on Twitter

After being down 3-0 the Houston Rockets have won two straight games over the Oklahoma City Thunder. After game 5 one of the Rockets bench warmers called Kevin Durant out on Twitter. Royce White is not even a bench warmer; he is not with the Rockets for the playoffs. White suffers from an anxiety disorder, and has not played for the Rockets all season long. He has spent time in the...

Kevin Durant On Intentional Foul Strategy: ‘Hack-A-Whatever His Name Is’

In the fourth quarter of the Rockets’ 107-100 Game 5 victory, the Thunder utilized a strategy of fouling the Omer Asik, a 52.7% career free throw shooter, intentionally in hopes of making a comeback. The strategy backfired as Asik made 7-of-12 and Kevin Durant seemed to have a hard time remembering the Rockets starting center’s name when asked about the fouls after the loss...

Royce White Taunts Kevin Durant On Twitter

Royce White may have had his stint with the Houston Rockets be extremely ‘SHAAKYY’, but it doesn’t mean he isn’t still a big fan.  Royce watched the Rockets 107-100 win over OKC on Wednesday night and then took to Twitter to take some shots at Durant.  Nothing screams class like hiding behind Twitter to talk trash. #bbpBox_329816397309964288 a { text-decoration:none; color...

Durant, Martin help Thunder finish series with Rockets

HOUSTON (AP) -- Kevin Durant scored 27 points and Kevin Martin added 25 to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 103-94 victory over the Houston Rockets on Friday night, sending them to the second round of the playoffs for the third straight season. The Rockets were looking to become just the fourth team in NBA history to force a Game 7 after trailing 3-0. But the Thunder opened...

Hack and Lose

Fear The Beard I don't mean to overreact to this, because it's just one first round playoff game between two teams that won't likely advance past the second round, due to injuries and inexperience. There's a very real chance that no one will think very much about this later, and that I'm just dealing with the ugly visual of a Game Five loss at home, in a series...
