Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant can shoot a jumper but does he know how to cook a good steak? The answer to the latter question is set to drop before the start of the 2013-2014 season.  Durant will open his own restaurant within walking distance from the Chesapeake Energy Arena where the team plays. According to the Oklahoman, the upscale sports bar is being developed by Randy Hogan and will be operated by the Hal Smith Restaurant Group. The group filed for a  building permit  this week that  calls for the one-story  $700,000 restaurant to be 10,000 square feet, and will be located just west of country star Toby Keith’s I Love this Bar and Grill (also operated by the Hal Smith Restaurant Group). Durant seems excited about the situation. “It’s going to be cool,” Durant said. “We’re breaking ground, I think, on the 26th of April. So it should be up probably before the beginning of next season.
