The Oklahoma Thunder and Los Angeles Clippers faced off on Tuesday night in a heated Western Conference battle. Late in the second quarter, with the Thunder leading 44-39, Serge Ibaka tried to get a shot off from the baseline but Caron Butler wasn’t about to let that happen. Caron got up high and swatted Serge’s shot out of bounds, however there was an obstacle. That obstacle...
Jamal Crawford, the Clippers super-sub guard, was not picked as a reserve for the NBA All-Star game in Houston Feb. 17.
NBA head coaches selected 14 reserves for the East and West teams. Crawford, in his 13th NBA season, has never made an All-Star team but was thought to have a good chance to be selected.
Instead, the All-Star reserves named Thursday to the Western Conference team...
OAKLAND Chris Paul sat at his locker with his shirt off and an ice pack on each of his knees. His arms were folded and his lips were pursed as he talked with Clippers head athletic trainer Jasen Powell about his injured knee.
While Powell kneeled on one knee to the side of Paul, the Clippers' All-Star point guard looked disturbed to be talking about how his bruised right kneecap...
After the Clippers lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night with Chris Paul sitting out because of a bruised right kneecap, Coach Vinny Del Negro didn't offer encouragement about his All-Star point guard.

Bledsoe started but struggled with his shot, hitting just 5-of-16 shots for 12 points. The third-year guard out of Kentucky added two rebounds, four assists, a steal...

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Coming off a loss two nights earlier in Denver, the Oklahoma City Thunder were more interested in bouncing back with a win than making any statements against the Clippers.
Kevin Durant scored 32 points, Russell Westbrook added 26 and the Thunder won 109-97 on Tuesday night in a matchup of teams with the two best records in the NBA.
"We've got 82 games...
In many people’s mind the way to get to the finals in the West is going through the OKC Thunder and/or the LA Clippers. Last night was a preview of what might happened if these two happened to face each other in the Western Conference Finals this season. Only one problem, the Clippers were without Chris Paul, but the game was still competitive and interesting. However without Paul...
