The Boston Celtics traveled to New Orleans for the start of a three-game road trip on Tuesday and Kevin Garnett (illness, thigh) flew with his teammates after missing the past two games, according to the team.
KG’s had a couple of games off now to rest his hip, shake his flu bug, clip that hang nail, tweeze those problem eyebrows….. whatever the hell it is that’s bothering him at this point.
After last night’s festivities, the Celtics sit tied with Chicago for 6th in the East with 16 games left to play (only 16????). They are a half game out of 5th, 2.5 out of 4th, and 3.5 out of the division lead/3rd seed.
