The Sacramento Kings may be going through some dark days in their franchise but it was not too long ago they were among the best in the NBA.
They had flash, defense, were the "run-and-gun" Suns before the Suns were run-and-gun. They sported some of the best players in the league back then such as Chris Webber, Mike Bibby, Vlade Divac, Jason Williams, Bobby Jackson, Peja Stojakovic and others who brought excitement to the court each night.
They battled the then mighty Lakers squad with Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal in many unforgettable playoff series.
And as the team rebuilds on the court and off the court, it was the glory years of the Kings that many fans still talk about.
