Kirk Hinrich will miss his sixth straight game on Friday night when the Bulls play at Golden State with his seventh different injury of the season. Hinrich finally revealed Thursday that the reason for his swollen foot is a stress reaction.
According to CSN Chicago:
“I had a stress reaction in a bone in my foot. It’s like a precursor to a stress fracture, so it was like a bunch of swelling, and real tenderness and pressure before, but it’s doing a lot better,” he explained, before detailing the chances of further exacerbating the injury. “I’m not sure. I don’t think you can rule it out. I think anytime you go out there, you can get injured. I don’t think it’s something that immediately follows it, from my understanding.”
