New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony hyperextended his left knee during practice Monday and is considered day to day.
Anthony was hurt during 5-on-5 drills but walked off the court under his own power. He was held out for the remainder of the practice.
Anthony underwent a pair of surgeries in the offseason, one on his knee and the other on his elbow.
The All-Star, acquired in a trade from Denver last season, averaged 26.3 points and 6.7 rebounds with the Knicks.
