Shatter The Backboard:
This game was a lot of fun, unless you are a Sixers fan of course. It had a little bit of everything. You got some Sheed, some good JR and some hilarious Nick Young being an idiot. Overall it was another blowout win for the Knickerbockers, their third in as many games this season. Melo Tony led the team in scoring with an efficient 21 points on 7/16 shooting. Earl Smith had another strong game with 17 points on 7/15 shooting and almost got in a fight. Sheed entered the game in the third quarter and proceeded to drain a buzzer beating three to end the quarter.… Read more

As I said in the last post I went to the New York Knicks game in Philly tonight and J.R. Smith had the play of the game. While that may be so no player electrified the crowd then Philly native Rasheed Wallace. EVERY time Sheed touched the ball the crowd would start to chant SHEEEEED and every time he hoisted a three you’d hear the chant even louder or a collective sigh. You...
New York Knicks forward Rasheed Wallace made a ridiculous three-point buzzer beater to end the third quarter of Monday night's 110-88 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Wallace finished the night with 10 points and three rebounds while Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks in scoring with 21 points.
J.R. Smith had a nice game with 17 points, 5 assists and seven rebounds...
When the New York Knicks signed 38-year-old Rasheed Wallace this offseason, it didn’t appear that he would have much of an impact on the team. After all, Wallace had been retired for the last two seasons, and adding another aging big man to a roster full of elder citizens was not expected to help New York better itself.
However, the Knicks have started the season 3-0, and Wallace...
The Philadelphia 76ers were embarrassed by the New York Knicks — on consecutive nights — but it was Rasheed Wallace who had one of the, if not THE, top play of the game when he hit a buzzer beater to end the third quarter. The Knicks defeated the Sixers 100-88 and Wallace ended with 10 [...]The post Rasheed Wallace’s Buzzer Beater vs Philadelphia 76ers (Video) appeared first...
There is no question that the New York Knicks J.R. Smith is one of the best athletes and high risers in the NBA. Last night he had that skill on display. Check out his monster dunk against the 76ers. The Knicks are 3-0 on the season.

Here at Menudo Bol, we love Rasheed Wallace and now it seems so does MSG.
Must feel great for Wallace to hear the chants calling for his check in on the court. And in classic Sheed fashion, he drills a 3.
Welcome back Sheed.
Oh how sweet it is. The new look New York Knicks kept the momentum from Friday’s win going this afternoon as they defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 104-84 at Madison Square Garden. Carmelo Anthony was absolutely fantastic on both ends of the court, scoring 27 points on 18 shots and making countless great plays on defense. The offense was efficient once again, shooting 50.6% for the...
Just one night after defeatd by the New York Knicks and the three ball, the Sixers recorded their second loss of the season. The Sixers lost Monday's game at the Wells Fargo Center to the New York Knicks, 110-88. Yet again, the main problem was the three ball.
The Knicks shot 40.6% from the three point range, and again where led by Carmelo Anthony. Melo led New York with...
The New York Knicks hit 11-of-27 threes en route to a 100-84 win over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Garden earlier today. Carmelo Anthony made only one of those deadly threes, but scored 27 points and shot 56 percent from the field. The Sixers hung tough for the first 12 minutes of the game, but…
PHILADELPHIA - Carmelo Anthony collected 21 points Monday night as the New York Knicks routed the Philadelphia 76ers for the second straight day, 110-88. Anthony, who had 27 points in Sunday's 100-84 victory over the Sixers in New York, was one of seven Knicks in double figures. That includes 38-year-old forward Rasheed Wallace, who is making an NBA comeback this year after...
PHILADELPHIA - The New York Knicks, off to their fastest start in over a decade, shrugged off a slow start Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers. Carmelo Anthony collected 21 points as the Knicks routed the Sixers for the second straight day, 110-88, to improve to 3-0 for the first time since the 1999-2000 season. Anthony, who had 27 points in Sunday's 100-84 victory over...
You see it at least once a game. A player chasing a loose ball goes crashing into the group of photographers and cameramen assembled on the baseline under the basket. Usually, the player gets up, checks that the photographer is okay, and then rejoins the game. But that wasn’t the case for Sixers guard Jason Richardson during Sunday’s Sixers-Knicks game.
Richardson drove to the...
Not sure about you guys, but I would rather pick up a six or seven then watch Jason Kidd pass the ball to Carmelo Anthony and Raymond Felton.
Clever ad. Someone will complain about it soon enough.
This one seems a little insensitive.
