In crunch time with the Lakers up 89 to 82 against the Phoenix Suns, Bryant had the ball on the right wing in an isolation set against Grant Hill. He would rip through and use a quick first step to get around Hill and slam it home for his 40th point.

On the very next possession, Bryant attempted a three pointer that rattled in and out. Luke Walton grabbed the board, swung it to Matt Barnes at the top of the key, and Barnes lobbed it up to Bryant for a reverse dunk.

Watch the sequence below:

Bryant scored more points than any player in the NBA this season against the Suns on Tuesday night. Bryant finished with 48 points, shooting 18-31 from the field, and 12-13 from the free throw line. Bryant also grabbed five rebounds, and dished out three assist.

Video: See Jared Dudley broadcast a badminton game
