Johnson, Hawks beat Magic for 10th straight time

ATLANTA (AP) The Atlanta Hawks have had so many injuries and illnesses that they may not know who will be on the floor until tipoff. They can count on one thing when they're playing the Magic -- a win. Ivan Johnson came off the bench to score a season-high 21 points and added 10 rebounds as Atlanta beat Orlando for the 10th straight time, 97-88 in Philips Arena, in a game...

Atlanta Hawks 1980s Dance Video

Somehow, I had never seen this before until today.  Fast forward to 2:27 for a dope sax solo or fast forward to 3:02 for closeup of the team including Doc Rivers' dancing at 3:12.  Love the Jon Koncak, Scott Hastings and Tree Rollins sightings.  Three 7 footers for one team means you KNOW it's gotta be the 80s or 90s. Not bad for a team that never made it past the second...

Comments from the Other Side - Hawks 3/29

Great game by the Celtics.  With both teams missing starting centers, they couldn't use Horford being out as an excuse.   As much as they complained about the officiating, the fact is that they got more free throws than the Celtics.  The refs let a lot of stuff go both ways. It's nice to know that they now know who Shavlik Randolph is.     Enjoy today's comments...
