It looks as if Kris Humphries may be the odd man out in Brooklyn.credit: pictures.zimbio.com After resigning with the Brooklyn Nets this offseason, Kris Humphries certainly expected to play a fairly large role this season. This hasn’t happened, as the team has turned to other options at power forward, such as Reggie Evans and Andray Blatche. Humphries has been in the news more for his ongoing divorce battle with Kardashian than he has for his play. Now, it looks as if Kris Humphries is pretty much out of the equation for the Nets for the rest of the season. Via the New York Daily News: Kris Humphries’ official divorce from Kim Kardashian is fast approaching, but his divorce from playing time will come much sooner. According to a league source, Humphries was informed by coach P.J. Carlesimo Wednesday morning that he will no longer be part of the Nets’ shortened rotation. Carlesimo has said in recent days that he wants to limit the rotation to nine or 10 players as the Nets head into the stretch run before the postseason. After signing him to a $24 million deal, it is definitely interesting that he is now on the outside of the rotation looking in. His primary replacement, Reggie Evans, offers essentially the same skill set as Humphries. Both are primarily rebounders, with Humphries probably offering more than Evans on the offensive end. -Mark Evans, Assistant Manager/Editor of Content Follow us on Twitter The post Kris Humphries Out Of Rotation? appeared first on Pass The Pill.
