Kyrie Irving will miss his second straight game tonight when the Cavs host the Raptors due to a hyperextended right knee. The All-Star point guard, averaging 23.3 points and 5.6 assists per game, missed Tuesday night’s game in Chicago but his team was able to pull of the 101-98 road victory.
According to Jodie Valade, The Plain Dealer:
Kyrie Irving will miss tonight’s game against the Toronto Raptors because of a sore/hyperextended right knee, the same injury that forced him to miss Tuesday’s game in Chicago, the Cavaliers announced.
Irving suffered the injury last week in practice when he banged knees with a teammate. He played games in Orlando and Miami while complaining of soreness, and finally sat against the Bulls.
