CLEVELAND -- Things seem to be coming together for the young Cavaliers and the rest of the NBA is taking notice. On Monday, Cavs point guard Kyrie Irving was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Its a well-deserved honor, as Irving averaged a league-high 35.7 points in three games (all victories), and hit the final shot in Saturdays one-point win at Toronto. Irvings shot was a 28-foot three-pointer and came with .7 seconds left. Irving scored at least 32 points in all three games and shot 61 percent from the floor, starting with 40 points on 16-for-24 shooting in Tuesdays win over Boston. He followed with 35 points on 12-for-17 shooting in Fridays win vs. Milwaukee (in which the Cavs overcame a 20-point deficit), and 32 points on 13-for-26 shooting vs. Toronto.
