Pro Sports Daily:
Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant is day-to-day with discomfort in his right foot. The star missed both practice sessions Friday but is not considered seriously injured. Lakers trainer Gary Vitti advised Bryant and coach Mike Brown to sit Bryant out. "My take on it is this: Gary has a job to do, he's our head trainer and I just follow his lead," Brown said. "He knows a lot more than me when it comes to that stuff, so really, I'm OK not knowing what's going on. Just, 'Can a guy go or not?' If you can go, great. If he can't go, great." Center Dwight Howard is making progress from offseason back surgery as he practiced Friday. He also participated in a 5-on-5 scrimmage Thursday. However, he will not play in the Lakers' exhibition opener Sunday against the Golden State Warriors. "I couldn't even tell you what he hasn't done," Brown said. "Every time I look up he's in the drills, whether it's cont...

THE BIG ANTAGONIST
For years, Dwight Howard has been the target of Shaquille O'Neal's barbs, but now that the Big Fella is retired, the new Lakers franchise center says it's time to move on.
It seems every player has a strong opinion about the NBA's new flopping rule and Lakers star Kobe Bryant is simply the latest one to express his opinion on it.
Dwight Howard must be shaking his head right now, because one of his baby mama's released the photos of her steaming, sexy, fitness photoshoot.Hope Alexa (on the left/below), who had a daughter with L.A. Lakers superstar, is claiming herself to be a Mommy SWFC bikini/fitness competitor, according to her Twitter page.Alexa, who is Canadian, is taking a different approach when...
The Los Angeles Lakers’ Medical Staff updated the status of center Dwight Howard’s injured back on Wednesday. The report came after Wednesday’s morning practice session, with a night session that followed. Howard participated in the entire Laker practice, even going through 1-on-1 and 2-on-2 contact drills on offense and defense with PF Pau Gasol. The [...]

The Heat won it all last year as LeBron James finally won his first championship. Will they win it again this year? Here’s a look at my top ten teams going into the 2012 season.Miami Heat- Last year’s champion hasn’t done anything to scare me away from putting them here. Adding Ray Allen gives them another veteran who fills a need as a lights out shooter. Chris Bosh will play...
One of the great things to come to the NBA blogging table in the last year or so has been the Dwight Howard/Shaquille O'Neal feud.Yesterday, Shaq took another shot at Howard by saying that Nets center Brook Lopez was a better player than he was:Dwight Howard, who's a pick-and-roll player, some people say he's the best center in the league, but me being an old-school...
The Lakers began their march into the ’12- ’13 NBA season one Sunday with their first preseason game in Fresno, Ca. against the Golden State Warriors. Dwight Howard was in attendance but didn’t touch the hardwood. He sat down for an interview during the second quarter and one of the interesting items to come out [...]
Dwight Howard has not been given the green light yet from the Lakers.
Word is, he also wants to change his name from “Superman”, to “Iron Man”. Above is Dwight at last night’s preseason game, which the Lakers lost.
I know Shaq is all for it but Iron Man is kinda wack. How bout “Poser Boy”?
I kid, sorta. All I want is for Dwight to play with hunger this season. It’s about damn time already.
Dwight Howard has moved on from Shaquille O'Neal's verbal jabs toward him over the years.
This Shaq vs. Dwight feud is getting a bit played out. But here’s the latest:
“We as players, we always watch people before us. When I came in it was Patrick Ewing and Hakeem Olajuwon, guys who played like true centers who played inside. What we have now are centers that are going to the European style, which is a lot of pick-and-roll. Dwight Howard, who’s a pick-and-roll...
Now notice, Shaquille O'Neal didn't say smarter, he said Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez is better than new LA Laker Dwight Howard:
What we have now are centers that are going to the European...
