TEAMS: Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, Sacramento Kings, Memphis Grizzlies, Dallas Mavericks
Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Nash will miss at least another week of action as he continues to recover from a non-displaced fracture in his left leg that he suffered on Halloween against the Portland Trailblazers, reports Mike Trudell of Lakers.com.During L.A.’s Friday evening game against Steve Nash’s former team, we learned that Nash would miss at least another week while recovering from the non-displaced fracture in his left leg originally suffered on Halloween at Portland. While the continues to be no timetable on Nash’s return, he has been ruled out for the Lakers’ next five games; Sunday against the Houston Rockets, Tuesday against the Brooklyn Nets, Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings, Friday against the Memphis Grizzlies and Saturday against the Dallas Mavericks. After this stretch Nash will be reevaluated by the team. This is similar to previous updates on Nash’s health, as the guard has admitted the recovery process has been frustrating for him as he’s been unable to rejoin his team. Since the Lakers have higher aspirations than simply winning regular season games their goal is to ensure Nash’s health for late into the season and postseason, so there is no need to rush him back.Follow @hoopsinjurynews!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://www.nbainjurynews.com//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs"); var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-34100676-1']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ?
