Beyond The Buzzer:
Lamar Odom returned to Dallas for the first time since his disastrous tenure and mutual agreement to part ways with the Mavericks last season. Upon checking into the game, Odom received thunderous boos from the crowd, which returned every time he touched the ball. To the delight of Dallas fans, Odom turned the ball over on his first offensive possession sparking cheers from the American Airlines Center.

Lamar Odom received a roar of boos every time he touched the ball in his return to Dallas Tuesday, and though he says he’d apologize to Mark Cuban for the way things ended last season, he feels no guilt about his early departure from the team.
According to Tim MacMahon, ESPN Dallas:
“Guilty? No, no, no,” Odom said when asked if he felt guilt about the way his season in Dallas...
Lamar Odom had the worst season of his career with the Dallas Mavericks last year. When the Mavericks acquired the 12-year veteran, they thought they would be getting the same type of role player the Los Angeles Lakers had during the seven years prior. That did not happen, and Odom’s only season in Dallas ended with the team paying him to not be on the roster.
As you might expect...
We’ve seen bad three point attempts this year (paging, Blake Griffin!), but perhaps nothing compares to this crunch time monstrosity that Matt Barnes jacked up near the end of overtime Tuesday night in Dallas. In a hotly contested game that both the Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers needed to win, Barnes lined up a three from the top of the arc that was so wide open, it couldn’t...
The Clippers announced Monday that they’ve signed forward, DaJuan Summers, to a second 10-day contract. Summers has averaged 1 point ad 1 rebound (3.5 minutes) in 2 games with the team since signing his first 10-day contract.
According to Los Angeles Clippers:

Jada Paul, Chris Paul’s wife, was on Instagram straight flexin’ recently, showing off her husband’s ridiculously massive sneaker collection, and it’s a sneakerhead’s dream. CP3′s wall to wall collection is so large, a customized walk-in closet was insufficient. Instead, Paul transformed an entire bedroom in the couple’s home into the ultimate...
The Los Angeles Clippers lost an overtime thriller to the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night, but they were a mere shove away from winning the game in miraculous fashion. After OJ Mayo tied the score with 0.6 seconds remaining, Blake Griffin nearly pulled off the highlight of the season. However, he was called for an offensive foul and the shot didn’t count.
As you can see, Griffin...
Chris Paul’s wife provided this picture on her Instagram of just a portion of his shoe stock which is so huge that they needed an entire bedroom to make all those Jordans fit. I think Paul has more shoes right now than I’ve had in my entire life.
PLAYA VISTA, Calif. Reggie Evans had a big game Saturday night at Staples Center. The fact he had it for the Brooklyn Nets must have seemed curious to anyone who has followed the ebbs and flows of the Clippers the past two seasons.
Evans was a key contributor off the bench for the Clippers before they traded him to the Nets at the end of last season. That made it impossible to...
In a close game, the Clippers found themselves down by 3 last night in overtime to the Dallas Mavericks. An offensive possession finds the ball in Matt Barnes hands at the top of the key for a wide open 3-pointer. Barnes shoots 34% from 3 on the season, so many would conclude that that was a good shot and had a decent chance to tie the game.
Unfortunately, the shot wasn’t...
Chris Paul turned a bedroom of his house into a museum specifically for his shoes, and it is glorious.
During Tuesday's Mavericks-Clippers game, veteran announcer Dick Stockton had a pretty egregious announcing flub that he covered up pretty quickly. In the third quarter, Mike James of the Mavericks hoisted up a three that bounced off the front of the rim and into the arms of Blake Griffin. Stockton called the shot like it was a made three, and it took a second for him to realize...
Matt Barnes will likely want to forget this possession from Wednesday night ASAP. With under 25 seconds to play in OT against the Dallas Mavericks and down 103-100, Barnes got the ball at the top of the arc, launched an uncontested three point shot and caught air. The Mavericks went on to beat the Clippers 109-102.
A gutty 109-102 overtime victory over the Clippers late Tuesday night pulls Dallas to within one game of the eighth and final playoff seed in the Western Conference. 'It's a good time to be playing your best basketball of the season,' said Dirk, who scored 33 points to outduel Chris Paul and to help his Mavs do just that.
The last time the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Hornets on the road, they weren't even located in New Orleans.
The suddenly surging Hornets would like to keep it that way.
After opening a four-game trip with another road defeat, the Clippers look to avoid a 10th straight road loss to the Hornets on Wednesday night.
