For the second time in three days a ref has taken been on the receiving end of a unintentional blow from a player. Boozer caught ref, Dan Crawford with a celebratory punch almost below the belt, and on Tuesday, Bill Kennedy caught an inadvertent elbow from Bucks center Larry Sanders. After tossing up the jump ball to start the game, Kennedy hit the deck after Sanders’ elbow struck his face. Sanders showed concern, walking over and checking on Kennedy, who was able to stay in the game. Sanders went on to post a career-high 24 points, and 13 rebounds in the 131-102 win over the Bobcats.
