We’ve had some pretty great moments in Olympic basketball thus far, and the best ones have yet to come with the later stages coming up. Athletic players tend to thrive in international play, as the games can get more wide open and become a track meet.
You can now add Andres Nocioni to the list of the victims.
Watch the mean crossover that Leandro Barbosa gave Nocioni in today’s Brazil/Argentina matchup. Then maybe watch it again. He may not be the player that he once was, but Barbosa showed potential NBA suitors that he still has enough left in the tank to be a strong wing player.
That being said, Nocioni got the last laugh, as Argentina held off a fiesty Brazil team.
However, I think even Allen Iverson would be proud of Leandro Barbosa’s crossover.
Can someone get Nocioni some tape and some ice, please?
