The Miami Heat are set to open the season against the Boston Celtics, and before tipping-off players will witness the raising of the championship banner as well as receiving their rings. To make the occasion even more special, LeBron James will be debuting a pair of brand new shoes, the gold-themed Nike LeBron X. The gold-themed Nike LeBron X features, on one side, a logo that reads “MVP” and “697,”  representing LeBron's 697 points in the postseason on the way to claiming his first Larry O’Brien trophy last year. While the other side features “CHAMP” and “16-7,” which was the Heat’s playoff record last season. Do these shoes pass the $300 mark? Source: Nike
