TEAMS: Miami Heat, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers

For LeBron James, he’s had one hell of a year, winning an NBA championship, MVP award, Finals MVP and an Olympic gold medal. Only Michael Jordan, who many people consider “the GOAT,” has acheived that feat.
And just this week, the Heat’s star forward was named the No. 1 player in the NBA for the second year in a row by ESPN with their #NBARank.
With a new team that is expected to be more deadly with extra additions like Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis, James says they’re going to be “scary.” And now he’s heading back to work and grinding it out as he looks to start his journey in a month on his path for a second ring.
However, James says that the team can be a lot better than last year’s championship squad when talking to the media Friday as the team begins their very first practice on Saturday.
“We can be better than we were this past season,” James told Associated Press’ Michael Wallace as the MVP received his championship ring that day. “Are we better right now than we were just a couple months ago? Of course not. … But we have the potential to be better.
“We have the potential to be a lot better. That is scary.”
Miami looks like they have a much better shot, too. Heat big man Chris Bosh has already been talking off a potential dynasty!
We’ll see how it works out as the Heat have tougher competition with a more motivated Oklahoma City Thunder team and a new, much more stacked Los Angeles Lakers squad down on the West Coast.
