Baseball Blogging Network:
Lebron James has seen the teams presentations now he must decide where his future will be. There are many opportunities and this will not be an easy decision. The glitz of the Big Apple has always intrigue James, but honestly I think they are a long shot. The New Jersey Nets gave a great presentation and Jay-Z is a friend, but do not see that working out for the Nets. Dwayne Wade and Lebron James are good friends, but forget about James going to Miami that will not happen.
This leaves Cleveland and the Chicago Bulls as the two teams left standing. First the Cleveland Cavaliers is a team he has played all his life for. They are as much a part of him as anything. Leaving them he understands would be so tough and it could really leave a hole in the community even James may not be able to heal. On the other hand you do have the Chicago Bulls and that presents a challenge that may be enough to get James to leave Cleveland for Chicago.
James knows he will have a lot of pressure if he goes to Chicago as the legend of Michael Jordan will weigh heavy upon him. I think in the end though he will take on that challenge. James has always wanted to be called the best basketball player ever and he knows to do that he must unseat Jordan. Can he do it? Most likely no, but James is all about challenges and he maybe wanting to try it. In the end I think this challenge could be enough to get him to leave Cleveland.
