Once tip-off happens, all bets are off, but LeBron James says that he plans to reach out to Derrick Rose before tonight's game to wish him well and welcome him back to the league after Rose's long absence from the NBA.
"I'm happy and thrilled that he's back," James said as the Heat prepared to open defense of their second straight NBA championship. "I'm happy with what he did last year, to be able to stand strong throughout everything, throughout all of the adversity of everybody criticizing him about what he should do. He did what was best for him."
The Bulls look to be one of the more formidable challenges that the Heat will face in the Eastern Conference. The team made the playoffs without Rose last year, and LeBron, Dwyane Wade and company know that the Bulls will be a team to watch out for as we try for the three-peat. Said Wade:
