It looks like the Suns are in the market for a new head coach, so let's do a Tecmo Blog favorite and speculate who this new head coach may be! Many people think it is going to be a low budget coach because Robert Sarver is cheap. Never mind the fact that Sarver is only one of the few owners in the league paying the luxury tax, gave huge contracts to Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire, Boris Diaw, Quentin Richardson (way back when), and also managed to pay for Raja Bell, Marcus Banks and Leandro Barbosa. What a cheap SOB . . .Doug Collins: His name comes up because he is a resident of the valley, knows the Suns, loves the Suns (just listen to him call a Suns game) and is a former coach. Hey, I like Doug Collins, but rumor has it he has no desire to coach.Verdict: Not likely, Collins will finish out his career as an announcer.Avery Johnson: A coach of a highly successful regular season team that fell apart in the playoffs each of the past three years.
