Iowa State’s Marcus Fizer was set to play ball with Israel’s Maccabi Ashdod but his poor health will cost him a contract. Fizer failed to pass a team physical according to reports out of Israel. The team knew of his past injuries and his contract was based on him passing the physical. This comes on the heels of Fizer being cut in Puerto Rico in May and makes one wonder if the former fourth overall pick of the 2000 NBA Draft has played his final pro game. Marcus Fizer profile
