It shouldn't be easy, Nuggets fans. But this is the price you pay for the sins of the front office, coaching staff and players. Linas Kleiza can play. He can play both forward positions, one of them well. One of his best friends gets to count the owner of the Denver Nuggets as his father. Linas dropped 41 in a game as a Nugget just 2 1/2 years ago. Linas can drive. Sometimes, Linas can shoot. And Linas can contribute. More than eight points and 3.5 rebounds in 19 minutes per game on his career, three years in, and he won't even turn 25 until January. For a team like the Nuggets, a squad that can use a bit of dynamic offense, as well as contributors who can work well without the ball, Kleiza would seem to be a guy worth retaining. (To say nothing of the fact, at some point, he probably respectfully microwaved off some Hot Pockets for Josh Kroenke and friends in dad's kitchen at about 4 a.m., after the Burger King wouldn't let them walk through the drive-thru window....
