Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that the Hornets have been in NBA news this entire offseason, and not for the best of reasons. Franchise player (and jerk) Chris Paul had the Hornets trading him everywhere this offseason, before landing a slew of players from the L.A. Clippers in exchange for his services. While Paul is irreplaceable, he would have been a disaster in the Big Easy this season, sulking through games due to his unhappiness.
Perhaps a clean slate is just what the Hornets need. Now that the Paul drama has been resolved, the Hornets can concentrate on basketball. While they have holes to fill, they did not come out of the CP3 deal empty-handed. Eric Gordon is in position to become a superstar, and they have several key guys from last year’s Playoff team returning. They also have Minnesota’s first-round pick in 2012, which should surely be a top 5 selection. Coach Monty Williams will tell his players that one man (CP3) doesn’t make a team, and th...

Chris Paul's arrival in Los Angeles has already resulted in huge ratings.
Paul's debut with the Clippers in Monday's 114-95 win over the Lakers was the most-watched preseason game in the history of NBA TV.

Chris Paul says teams 'are gonna be gunning' for the Clippers.
It’s just a regular day in Lob City when DeAndre Jordan catches a sweet alley-oop pass from his new teammate Chris Paul. Monstrous!
This week on the program, Mike and Tyler talk about gift cards as Christmas gifts and NBA Basketball. What should the Celtics do to replace Jeff Green? Jill Painter from the Los Angeles Daily News calls to weigh in on CP3 to the Clippers, the divorce between Kobe and Vanessa Bryant, and the divorce between [...]
Despite the hoopla surrounding the Clippers since the acquisition of Chris Paul and the signing of Chauncey Billups, LA's "other" NBA team hasn't quite taken the city from the Lakers and their years of tradition and championships. As long as Kobe Bryant is leading the way and Pau Gasol plays like the All Star that he is, it could be a whileBlake Griffin or not....
The Los Angeles Clippers are relevant at least for this season. With the trade for Chris Paul the Clippers now have 2 superstars. On Monday night the Clippers faced the Lakers in a preseason game.
Yes, I know it is only a preseason game and the stats won’t count, but DeAndre Jordan of the Clippers literally dunked over two Lakers. As you will see in the video below...
