Reggie Bullock UNC(photo credit heraldsun.com) The thing about a draft in any sport is that your feeling about a team’s pick as happens is quite different from the feeling you have a week or two later due to the media perceptions and what have you. My feeling towards the Los Angeles Clippers selection of Reggie Bullock with the 25th pick overall has remained constant, and that feeling is that the Clippers got just what they needed. The 6 foot 7 inch wing from UNC is now a viable option at the small forward position off the bench. An excellent 3 point shooter, Bullock shot at 43.6% clip for last season for the Tarheels. He was great coming off screens and he utilizes his 6 foot 10 inch wingspan to shoot over defenders. Bullock is terrible off the dribble(like Sam Young vs. the Heat bad), but with collection of primary ball-handlers the Clips have their is no need for him to be taking anyone off the dribble. Another thing he doesn’t do is turn the ball over, averaging 1.2 turnovers per game while playing over 31 minutes per game. This combined Bullock’ ability to attack the glass on both offense and defense gives the Clippers a player who makes good decisions and does the dirty work essential for teams to succeed. He averaged 6.5 boards per game his junior season, and also had 2.6 offensive rebounds for every 40 minutes he played speaks to his instincts; he’s always in the right place at the right time. Bullock’s potential to contribute doesn’t end with offense as he was an elite defender in the ACC last year. He would often guard the opposing team’s best perimeter player despite his tall and lanky frame. He was matched up against the likes of Shane Larken, Duran Scott, Seth Curry, and Erick Green in his ACC career. He compensates for his lack of quickness by being extremely active. His arms are rarely by his side whether he is on or off the ball and he always keeps his feet moving in order to prevent the dribble drive. Enthusiastic and ambitious Bullock had this to say when being introduced ”I’m just going to try to be hectic on defense and try to knock down shots when they come to me.” Knowing his offensive limitations and wanting to play defense, Bullock is Doc River’s dream player. The former Tarheel possesses a skill set which will provide him a lengthy NBA career (3 point shooting and defending) these skills are always in high demand in the NBA. Bullock has the sought after combination of two crucial attributes in a wing player in the league . Reggie Bullock’s ability to shoot the basketball and give fantastic energy on the defensive end will allow him to have a lengthy and productive NBA career, and hopefully this production will begin in Los Angeles.

I came to terms with the team on Sunday, then heard about the news conference on Wednesday. I thought, 'all right, I feel important, I feel needed.'
I couldn't wait to get back in the gym. And I got a full workout in before the press conference.
I'm glad I can pick up right where I left off.

A Los Angeles cameraman learned a lesson he won’t soon forget on Wednesday: Don’t suggest that Lamar Odom cheated on his wife, reality TV star Khloe Kardashian.
A paparazzi cameraman did just that Wednesday, and drew the full wrath of the former Lakers and Clippers star. Though it was initially unclear why Odom flipped out when video of the incident first emerged, TMZ now reports...
Lamar Odom-Kardashian was upset that the paparazzi were asking him about cheating on his wife Khloe Kardashian with a stripper.
That is when Lam Lam lost it.
According to the NY Daily News the photographers have decided to gang up and file a police report against Lamar Odom. Seems like an open and shut case unless Odom can prove he was being harassed and was defending himself.
The Minnesota Timberwolves and veteran power forward Ronny Turiaf have agreed to a two-year, $3.2 million contract.
Turiaf's agent, Mark Bartelstein, confirmed the deal in a phone interview on Thursday night. Bartelstein said Turiaf was encouraged by the direction of the franchise under new boss Flip Saunders and excited by the style of play used by coach Rick Adelman.
According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN LA, Metta World Peace, who was waived by the Lakers using their amnesty provision, says he doesn’t want to be picked up off waivers by a small-market team, but would rather play in China or play arena football next season instead – also saying his desire to play for his hometown Knicks is a thing of the past.
“I don’t really want to play...
The Minnesota Timberwolves appear to be the frontrunner to sign Ronny Turiaf.
Turiaf is a free agent after spending last season with the Los Angeles Clippers.
