Best Move: Amnesty of Metta World Peace
-The Lakers needed pieces to improve their bench and team after losing star center, Dwight Howard. With Metta World Peace having an outrageous contract it was clear that the only other big move Mitch Kupchak had to make was using the amnesty clause on Metta World Peace. Even though Metta was a pivotal part of the Lakers defense, with his departure, the Lakers got great NBA role players in Nick Young, Jordan Farmar, Chris Kaman, Wesley Johnson and Elias Harris. It also helps gives the Lakers gain more cap space for next season’s free agency class which includes Lebron James, Paul George, Carmelo Anthony and many more.
Worst Move: Losing Dwight Howard
