The Boston Globe's Julian Benbow first reported on Wednesday that the two sides were close to an agreement. Bringing Daniels back is a smart move for the Celtics. He already knows Doc's system like the back of his hand and he knows how to get to the hoop. Every once in a while, he'll hit an outside jumper or two and he's pretty reliable on defense.
