Marquis Teague was introduced to the media from the Berto Center today as #25 of the 2012-2013 Chicago Bulls.  ”We think Marquis is a real fit for this organization and this team both on the court and off the court”, said Bulls GM, Gar Forman.

When Chicago saw him sitting on the draft board at number 29 Forman said it was a “unanimous” decision as they would be “excited to have him as a Chicago Bull”.  Marquis Teague says he’s excited and ready to “come in everyday and work hard”.  Although he has not spoken with recovering starting point guard, Derrick Rose, Teague praised the 2011 MVP: “He’s one of the best point guards, if not the best, and I’m going to take advantage of that everyday”.

Tom Thibodeau is ready to get his 19 year old rookie in the gym and said he has a “big summer ahead of him”.  We will get our first look at #25 later this month in the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League.
