DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks put an end to their three-game losing skid Wednesday night with a 107-101 victory over the still-winless Washington Wizards. The Wizards, now 0-7, talked about being embarrassed after Tuesday's ugly loss at Charlotte, yet for much of the game they trailed by 18 points or more to a Dallas team that lacked injured forward Dirk Nowitzki and Shawn Marion. Washington came to life early in the fourth quarter and sliced an 83-71 deficit to 90-87 with 6:26 to go, bolstered by 13-of-27 shooting from the beyond the arc. But Dallas' Chris Kaman and O.J. Mayo responded with consecutive baskets and then Wizards guard Jordan Crawford was hit with a technical to lift Dallas' lead to 95-87 with 5:43 to play. The Wizards kept pushing and got within 101-98 with less than minute to play, but Washington guard A.J. Price missed a game-tying 3-pointer. Mayo then hit 1-of-2 free throws and Vince Carter grabbed the offensive rebound to seal the win. Dallas...

We all hope and pray that our teams can survive the hurdles that are placed in front of them and the Dallas Mavericks are no different than any other team. When it was made known that Dirk Nowitzki was going to have to have knee surgery, everyone in the media jumped on the crappy bandwagon and bashed the Mavericks and said that there was no way they would make it without Dirk.

The Dallas Mavericks are 4-4 so far this season without their superstar, Dirk Nowitzki, who is recovering from knee surgery. The team is staying afloat without him, behind the efforts of some of the supporting cast, including O.J. Mayo, Darren Collison, and Chris Kaman.

When the Dallas Mavericks arrive in the Midwest for weekend games against Indiana and Cleveland, they just wont be the same.
But, hey man, the Mavs are kind of doing OK, anyway.
The Mavs begin their trip Friday against the Pacers. They face the Cavaliers the next night. But anyone hoping to get a glimpse of Dallas at its very best well, youre out of luck, kids.
Things are dull for the Dallas Mavericks right now. There have been some good wins so far in this young season, coupled with some franchise-first losses. OJ Mayo, Darren Collison, and Chris Kaman have lit it up some nights, only to lay eggs in a few recent games. All in all, the beginning of the [...]
The Dallas Mavericks dance team has new uniforms this season and apparently a few of the fans aren’t feeling them. They think the costumes are too skimpy. The team debuted the new unis last week but in my opinion they look similar to what most teams wear. Check out uniforms from The Luv-a-Bulls, Miami Heat [...]
DALLAS (AP) -- Chris Kaman scored 23 points and had eight rebounds in only his second start for the Dallas Mavericks, who held on for a 107-101 victory over the winless Washington Wizards on Wednesday night.
O.J. Mayo had 25 points as the Mavericks snapped a three-game losing streak since Kaman's only other start.

DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks' three-game losing streak ended Wednesday night. The Washington Wizards' season-long skid continued. Washington, the NBA's last remaining winless team, fell to 0-7 with a 107-101 loss at American Airlines Center. The Detroit Pistons were 0-8 before earning a 94-76 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. The Wizards talked about...
Hey, the Dallas Mavericks haven’t forgot how to win a ball game! Kind of had me scared for a bit especially since at one time they had over a 20 point lead and only won by 6, what’s up with that and also at the end of the game, the Wizards had all bench players; but those players gave their team a spark and the coach stayed with that plan.
A win is a win, but there are still...
The short-handed Dallas Mavericks ended a losing streak earlier this week by taking advantage of a struggling team. They'll get to face another one in their next game.
The Indiana Pacers, who like the Mavericks are missing their perennial scoring leader, will try to earn only their second win in seven games Friday night in Indianapolis.

The Dallas Mavericks certainly are struggling, but their recent problems don't seem nearly as difficult to overcome as those facing the winless Washington Wizards.
Dallas looks to end a three-game skid by earning its fifth straight victory over visiting Washington on Wednesday night.
