Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle's patience with Lamar Odom is growing thin.
Odom's ongoing absence led the Mavericks to send the struggling forward to the NBA Development League. He has been assigned to the Texas Legends and will play for the D-League team on Saturday night before returning to the Mavericks.
"When he comes back, we're going to find out very quickly where things are at," Carlisle said on ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM's 'Galloway & Co.'
"He's going to have to show us with his actions and attitude that he's in."
The 32-year-old Odom has missed Dallas' last four games because of a family matter.
Odom is averaging 7.7 points and 4.5 rebounds in 32 games for the Mavericks this season.
