Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki didn't think he was worthy of All-Star consideration. NBA coaches did not share his opinion. Nowitzki, the reigning NBA Finals MVP, was among 14 reserves named Thursday for the NBA All-Star Game. It was the 11th consecutive All-Star selection for Nowitzki, who is averaging 17.6 points this season - his lowest output since 1999-2000. Joining Nowitzki as reserves for the Western Conference are veteran points guards Steve Nash of Phoenix and Tony Parker of San Antonio, Russell Westbrook of Oklahoma City, Kevin Love of Minnesota and first-time selections LaMarcus Aldridge of Portland and Marc Gasol of Memphis.
