The Dallas Mavericks wished their fans Happy Holidays with their latest video which features members of the team singing the classic "Sleigh Ride". At least, they attempted to sing it. Dirk Nowitzki, Dominique Jones, Dahntay Jones, Elton Brand and O.J. Mayo all took part, as well as head coach Rick Carlisle. Watching the players attempt to sing the "giddy-up" lyric is worth a few laughs. The song's fast pace was too much for Kaman, who was no longer in a festive mood when he was done filming his segment. Mavs do their part to spread Christmas cheer

Athletes singing is funny because they, like most of us, are bad at it. But there is something extra funny about watching someone who is so good at one thing be so bad at another. This is part if what makes celebrity softball games so funny. And now the Dallas Mavericks are singing Christmas songs. As you may know, the Mavericks' best player also happens to be German, thus introducing...

The Dallas Mavericks Also Have A Holiday Performance For Everyone

Earlier today we showed you the Houston Rockets stumbling through “Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel”. Now, it appears there’s a battle for tone deaf supremacy between Texas squads, as the Dallas Mavericks have unleashed the above version of “Sleigh Ride”. To say O.J. Mayo isn’t enthused would be the understatement of this holiday season. Also, if you didn’t think the Mavs...

The incredible transformation of O.J. Mayo

Mayo's entire career has been turned around by his moving to Dallas Drafted third overall in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves and traded on draft night to Memphis out of USC, O.J. DeMarcus Cousins fires back at O.J. Mayo

DeMarcus Cousins and O.J. Mayo are in a little bit of a beef right now. Matters began when Cousins punched Mayo in the groin during Monday’s Kings-Mavericks game. Mayo said after the game that the Sacramento center “has mental issues.” He also said Cousins’ immaturity was keeping him from becoming a franchise player. Cousins heard Mayo’s remarks, and he fired back at the...

Mavericks-Raptors Preview

The Dallas Mavericks have made due without their superstar. The Toronto Raptors have struggled to remain competitive, and it could get worse because of recent injuries. Neither team will be at full-strength Friday night in Toronto, though Dallas figures to have the upper hand against a sliding Raptors team which will be very short-handed. Plus, the Mavericks have won 14 of the...
