Mavs forward Chris Kaman is an interesting dude who is not afraid to speak his mind. This morning he was on BaD Radio 104.1 FM The Ticket and was asked about the Heat’s win streak. He had some unflattering things to say about Dwyane Wade.
I’m not much of a Dwyane Wade fan, but I’m a LeBron James fan. I’ve been watching him play, and we were in the same draft together. He’s had a great career already. I don’t want him to win everything, but I’m ok with the winning streak. I’m not against it or really for it. I just never really go along with (Dwyane Wade). I guess I just don’t like his style or whatever. I didn’t like the year the Mavs lost when he got all the foul calls. I didn’t like that.
Kaman was with the Clippers when the Heat defeated the Mavs in the 2006 finals, but now he plays for Dallas. He may not be there much longer, but he is making sure he is popular while he is there.
The interesting thing about Kaman and Wade is that Pat Riley actually had to be talked out of drafting Kaman at #5 in the 2003 NBA Draft. He went #6 to the Clippers.
