Good news Dallas fans. According to Earl K. Sneed of mavs.com, Devin Harris has been cleared for light running and jumping following a successful toe surgery performed over the offseason.

The team will remain cautious with his rehab and no definite timetable has been set on his return. Coach Rick Carlisle told USA Today’s Eddie Sefko: “He got clearance to step up his activity with light running and light jumping. So that’s a very good sign. And from there, it’s how he tolerates it until his next visit to the doctor.”
Harris began the first 4 years of his career in Dallas, signing with the team over the offseason to backup starting point guard Jose Calderon and shore up a thin backcourt. He holds career averages of 12.8 points, 4.9 assists and 2.4 rebounds.
