The San Antonio Spurs suffered a narrow defeat to the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals falling in Game 7 in Miami. DeJuan Blair believes things would have turned out differently if he were given an opportunity to impact the game. Instead Blair sat the bench and moved on to the Dallas Mavericks in the offseason. With that series long over Blair has set his eyes on another date the day his Mavericks face the Spurs and he can play his old team for the first time. Asked if there was a game he had circled on his schedule "The Spurs" Blair responded according to ESPN.com. Mavericks owner Mark Cuban believes Blair will show the Spurs what he’s capable of when they face off. “DeJuan already knows when we’re playing the Spurs” he told ESPN.com. “We already know what DeJuan is going to do to the Spurs. It’s going to be a beautiful thing.”
