Larry Brown Sports:
You didn’t really think this was over, did you? During the introductions before Game 1 of the Thunder-Lakers series on Monday night, the Oklahoma City crowd rained boos down on Metta World Peace. In fact, the boos continued throughout the entire game and were pretty close to constant. Maybe it took its toll on Metta, or maybe he just genuinely doesn’t like James Harden for whatever reason. He did, after all, say he was not going to shake his hand and make amends for the atomic elbow he dropped on Harden during the regular season.
As you can see from the video above that Outside the Boxscore shared with us, World Peace and Harden got tangled up early in the fourth quarter on Monday night as Harden was boxing Metta out. What started out as a normal basketball play quickly turned into World Peace’s elbow once again in the side of Harden’s head and Harden being dragged to the ground. World Peace acted stunned about the call, but he knows exactly what he did. Things can only get uglier ...

Metta World Peace indicated his plans to avoid making peace with James Harden prior to the playoff series between the Thunder and Lakers, and it looks like Harden got at least some revenge during Game 2 on Wednesday. Early in the game, Harden was being guarded by Metta and went behind his back with a dribble. His left arm went flailing and his elbow caught World Peace in the face...
Remember when Metta World Peace delivered the elbow that rocked the NBA to James Harden?
Harden may not remember it, after the elbow resulted in a concussion.
Remember or not, Harden got some unintentional revenge last night.
Reggie Miller quick to point out that it was “inadvertant”, and...
Last week, Oklahoma City Thunder guard James Harden won the NBA sixth man award and I guess it perfect timing for some Thunder fans who decided to make the below parody song.Check out this track called, "Beard Like Harden" using Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" as its inspiration:
Metta World Peace has no interest in extending a hand to James Harden when the Lakers open their Western Conference semifinals series against the Thunder.
James Harden gave Metta World Peace a taste of his own medicine Wednesday night when he inadvertently caught World Peace in the face with his elbow.
Derek Fisher has a career's worth of Lakers moments to remember.
James Harden has one he'd rather forget.
For better or worse, the Oklahoma City duo will confront those memories when the Thunder plays the Lakers in the Western Conference semifinals.
"It seems that's just the way it's supposed to be," Fisher told reporters in Oklahoma City about a matchup...
A long memory isn't required to figure out why Metta World Peace became a main story line for the Western Conference semifinals.
He was hit with a seven-game suspension for elbowing Oklahoma City guard James Harden in the head three weeks ago. The Lakers begin the semifinals Monday at the home of the Thunder.
"It'll be ironic. I assume that the fans won't love...
If you tuned into Game 1 between the Lakers and Thunder on Monday night, you may have noticed that the Oklahoma City fans are not fond of the artist formerly known as Ron Artest. As payback for the elbow he dropped on James Harden during the regular season, the fans booed Metta World Peace throughout the entire game. Depsite the boos, Metta has no problem with the fans — particularly...
Metta World Peace was booed on Monday night during the player intros in game one of Lakers vs. Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena. That’s to be expected after the elbow he delivered to fan favorite and sixth man of the year, James Harden. What makes this even more perfect? Star Wars’ “evil empire” theme being [...]
After watching last night's game against the Lakers I have little doubt who the best team in the Western Conference is. The Oklahoma City Thunder are absolutely unbelievable. The job they did against the Lakers on the offensive side was nothing short of spectacular. OKC's Big Three of Durant, Westbrook and Harden could not be checked. Westbrook was unstoppable all night finishing...
Think there isn’t any bad blood between the Thunder and Lakers? Think again. The dislike Thunder fans have toward Metta World Peace was evident prior to Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Monday when the forward was booed in warmups, intros, and every time he touched the ball during the game.
The dislike toward MWP goes back to the regular season when he concussed...
Metta World Peace made his return from a seven-game suspension in front of a home crowd eager for him to help the Los Angeles Lakers survive a first-round playoff scare and advance with a thrilling Game 7 victory.
His next stop doesn't figure to be nearly so friendly.
The Lakers start the Western Conference semifinals Monday night at Oklahoma City in the teams' first meeting...
Don’t mind NBC L.A., they’re just confused on which Kings team is in the NHL playoffs. Can you blame them? Kings hockey hasn’t been in the news this much in 20 years. Of course confusing the Sacramento Kings and the Los Angeles Kings officially cost a USC intern his/her career at NBC. Over.
In NBA news, the Thunder thumped the Lakers, 119-90, and gave us this great front page...

You know that new Gatorade commercial that talks about the first step you take can lead to your failure and success? It shows all the junk food and then the Gatorade chews?
Well, the Lakers ate the junk food before Monday night's game. And I mean ALL the junk food. They had to have because the Laker team that stepped onto the court in Oklahoma City might...
