Beyond The Buzzer:
While the Bobcats earned the reputation as the worst team in NBA history last season, there are benefits to being a Bobcat, like the invaluable experience of playing casual basketball with the G.O.A.T., Michael Jordan. Monday was Jordan’s first hands-on practice with his team this season where he went one-on-one with some of the players. Bobcats guard Gerald Henderson says “he’s still got it,” which is absolutely no surprise to anybody.
According to Charlotte Observer:
It has become an unofficial annual event: Bobcats owner Michael Jordan shows up at a home practice in workout clothes. He watches, he instructs, he gets the old itch. Eventually he wanders out onto the court and ends up playing one-on-one with the midsize guys.
This year it was Gerald Henderson and rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, with injured Tyrus Thomas throwing Jordan entry passes. Everyone left smiling, and maybe a little more savvy about basketball, too.
“He’s the best ever to play and he’s still got that competit...

The club was housing a Chris Paul hosted party, and the party got a little out of hand toward the latter portion of the evening thanks to Jamie and some other ladies.
On Wednesday, Dime Magazine release a video of Michael Jordan playing hoops in a Charlotte Bobcats’ practice. Air-Jordan, now a tender 49 years young, looked terrific as he was working with Gerald Henderson and company of footwork and defense. Any chance to catch a glimpse of MJ in action is worth posting on this network.

Monday night during the Warriors 104-96 win over the Bobcats, Stephen Curry put on a little show to the dismay of Jeff Taylor. For those of you who miss seeing Michael Jordan take to the court, dominate the competition, and take to the air for dunks, well brace yourself for the following video.
OK so maybe MJ isn't getting insane air like he used to but Jordan took to the court in a recent Bobcats practice which I am sure was a treat for the players and a bit intimidating considering he is MJ and owner...
Chris Paul balled out with 19 points in Charlotte last night against the Bobcats, then balled out at the Label night club afterward. Multiple people, including the wife of Charlotte Bobcats player Tyrus Thomas were arrested during a fight outside an uptown bar early Thursday morning around 2:30 a.m. No NBA stars were reportedly arrested so we are guessing this was a cat fight...
The Bobcats gave the Clippers a solid fight in a 100-94 loss on Wednesday night, but enter their third meeting with the Atlanta Hawks on an embarrassing nine game slide. They’ll have to pull off an upset on Thursday night to keep it from extending to 10 straight losses, and try to turn the month [...]

In whats turned into a guards league, general manager Rich Cho must have been smiling while watching his prized backcourt possession Wednesday night as he went toe-to-toe with the leagues...
“There are no limitations on this team,” Warriors coach Mark Jackson said, perhaps overstating his team’s abilities just a smidge. “They’re all committed and everybody hangs on to the rope.” The Bobcats, meanwhile, are hanging from a rope, having lost 8 in a row, most of them at home, most of them more convincingly than [...]
