A familiar face showed up on the Charlotte Bobcats’ practice court yesterday. Owner Michael Jordan stepped in for some one-on-one drills, likely in an effort to energize a team that has lost eight straight after starting the season 7-5 — a record that matched their win total all of last season. The 49-year-old Jordan spent time with team captain Gerald Henderson and stud rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, while injured forward Tyrus Thomas lobbed entry passes.
However, Henderson, a former Duke Blue Devil (Jordan was a Tar Heel) who is also coming off an injury, might need some coaching on how not to comment on His Airness’ game:
He’s still got it. He can still shoot. I don’t know about his defense, but he can still score. He’s a basketball genius. But I don’t know if he wants to see me in a couple of months.
Smart move, Mr. Henderson. You know what happened to the last guy who questioned Michael Jordan’s ability on the court? Or challenged him? I don’t think they ever found his body. Let’s just hope the cameras are rolling at practice when Henderson is healthy a couple months from now.
Jamie Patrice Thomas, who is the wife of Charlotte Bobcats forward Tyrus Thomas, was arrested outside of a Charlotte bar around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at the NC Music Factory outside of the Label night club. The club was housing a Chris Paul hosted party, and the party got a little out of hand toward the latter portion of the evening thanks to Jamie and some other ladies.
While the Bobcats earned the reputation as the worst team in NBA history last season, there are benefits to being a Bobcat, like the invaluable experience of playing casual basketball with the G.O.A.T., Michael Jordan. Monday was Jordan’s first hands-on practice with his team this season where he went one-on-one with some of the players. Bobcats guard Gerald Henderson says “he’s...
On Wednesday, Dime Magazine release a video of Michael Jordan playing hoops in a Charlotte Bobcats’ practice. Air-Jordan, now a tender 49 years young, looked terrific as he was working with Gerald Henderson and company of footwork and defense. Any chance to catch a glimpse of MJ in action is worth posting on this network.
The wife of Charlotte Bobcats forward Tyrus Thomas was beaten up and arrested following an altercation in a nightclub. Jamie Patrice Thomas was arrested early Thursday morning outside of Label nightclub where a party hosted by Clipper Chris Paul had taken place. In total six people were arrested, four of them were women including Ben [...]
Monday night during the Warriors 104-96 win over the Bobcats, Stephen Curry put on a little show to the dismay of Jeff Taylor. Curry dropped 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists and helped his Warriors improve to 14-7 on the season. WIth a little over four minutes left in the 3rd quarter Curry was taking the ball up the court against Jeff Taylor and a simple spin move left Taylor...

Hey, in a terrible Eastern Conference, 7-13 is only like 3 games out.

For those of you who miss seeing Michael Jordan take to the court, dominate the competition, and take to the air for dunks, well brace yourself for the following video.
OK so maybe MJ isn't getting insane air like he used to but Jordan took to the court in a recent Bobcats practice which I am sure was a treat for the players and a bit intimidating considering he is MJ and owner...
Chris Paul balled out with 19 points in Charlotte last night against the Bobcats, then balled out at the Label night club afterward. Multiple people, including the wife of Charlotte Bobcats player Tyrus Thomas were arrested during a fight outside an uptown bar early Thursday morning around 2:30 a.m. No NBA stars were reportedly arrested so we are guessing this was a cat fight...
The Bobcats gave the Clippers a solid fight in a 100-94 loss on Wednesday night, but enter their third meeting with the Atlanta Hawks on an embarrassing nine game slide. They’ll have to pull off an upset on Thursday night to keep it from extending to 10 straight losses, and try to turn the month [...]

CHARLOTTE Kemba Walkers become what the Charlotte Bobcats have needed so desperately since their inception in 2004: The burgeoning, future star a franchise can build its team around.
In whats turned into a guards league, general manager Rich Cho must have been smiling while watching his prized backcourt possession Wednesday night as he went toe-to-toe with the leagues...
“There are no limitations on this team,” Warriors coach Mark Jackson said, perhaps overstating his team’s abilities just a smidge. “They’re all committed and everybody hangs on to the rope.” The Bobcats, meanwhile, are hanging from a rope, having lost 8 in a row, most of them at home, most of them more convincingly than [...]
