Michael Jordan still picks Kobe Bryant over LeBron James. Jordan, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, said he views the Lakers star guard as the more successful player to date when compared to the Miami Heat All-Star. "If you had to pick between the two, that would be a tough choice," said Jordan, "but five beats one every time I look at it." Bryant has five titles with the Lakers with seven trips to the NBA Finals. James has one championship with three finals' appearances. "And not that he won't get five," continued Jordan on James. "He may get more than that, but five is bigger than one." NBA TV will air a special on the Chicago Bulls Hall-of-Famer in honor of Jordan's 50th birthday. Jordan currently owns the Charlotte Bobcats. -Eric Pincus

LeBron James tweets about comparisons between Michael Jordan and himself

Tweet Leading up to the Miami Heat’s game on Tuesday night, LeBron James was the hot topic all day. Talking heads all over the place gawked over LeBron’s streak of games with 30+ points and 60 percent shooting, a streak that he stretched to an NBA-record six games against Portland last night. However, in the [...]

Heat forward LeBron James has been lights out in his past seven games. James has been scoring at will and has lead the Heat on a seven game winning streak. LeBron: I’m not MJ, I’m LJ

LeBron James, the greatest NBA player in this current era is most certainly going to draw comparisons to the greatest player of the previous era in Michael Jordan. And yes at this point the haters of King James (which I was one) certainly have to bow down at this point. He’s better than Durant and [...]

Kobe Bryant Not Happy With Dwight Howard Laughing and Joking After Blowout Loss

Kobe told Dwight Howard to leave the Clown Act in Orlando, but to date Howard has ignored him. That is the reason why there has already been several dust ups between Kobe and Dwight. While Kobe didn’t point out Dwight specifically in these quotes provided by Larry Brown Sports, it is pretty obvious who he is talking about. “I’m not happy right now and hopefully my teammates...

MJ, LBJ or Kobe?

You can make an argument that  Lebron James, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant all could be rated  the number one player of All-Time. If I was a betting man, Jordan would be the number one choice. The game in the Jordan era was different, more physical, lots of hand checking and harder fouls were allowed. Second for me would be Kobe. He has the work ethic of MJ and a drive of his...

A shooting percentage...

Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant were elected starters for Sunday night's NBA All-Star game in Houston. Despite playing through a torn labrum in his right shoulder, Howard said Monday that he expects to play. "If I re-aggravate my shoulder in these next two games, I'll probably just play a couple of minutes and sit the rest out," Howard said. Coach Mike D'Antoni...
