I caught up with Ty Lawson’s good friend from North Carolina, his old teammate Marc Campbell, who provided some more insight into both Ty and “Chico,” the alter-ego we met in Sunday’s Denver Post. Here’s what Campbell e-mailed: About Ty’s fun personality, to start with I want to make this statement — he’s one of the most genuine people I have ever met in my life. He is true to himself in every sense of that statement. During our sophomore year we lived in a dorm together and junior year a house together, both years with Deon Thompson, and during that time we because somewhat more of a family then we already were. Random Athlete OF The Day-Nikoloz Tskitishvili

Nikoloz Tskitishvili is a former NBA 7 foot bust from Georgia (not the one next to Alabama). At the age ripe age of 18 Tskitishvili played professionally for Benetton Treviso in Italy. Showing more promise than the Jonas Brothers’ rings, he averaged 6.2 ppg in just 12 mpg. He was young, showed unreal potential, and the NBA scouts were banking on his results. The dude was supposed...
