The success that Boston sports teams have enjoyed in recent years has had the unfortunate effect of driving up ticket prices a bit. The Philadelphia 76ers do not have that problem, as one Sixers fan proved Wednesday night. The fan, who goes by the Twitter handle @mleif, purchased a full row at the Wells Fargo Center — that’s 18 tickets — for just $0.04 cents per seat on StubHub. He did get hit with a few service charges, but the whole bill still came out to under 11 dollars. That’s a good thing for this fan, since 17 of those seats remained unoccupied during the Sixers’ 88-69 loss to the Pacers. Check out the ultimate example of bargain shopping in the tweets below. (h/t Philly.com) I'm about to buy an entire row. Report: Ray Allen is leaning toward retirement

There likely are a number of NBA teams that would love to have Ray Allen’s services. Unfortunately, it appears they all might be out of luck.   The 39-year-old free agent is leaning towards retiring from the NBA rather than attempt to sign with a team for the second half of the season, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reported recently, via ESPN Cleveland. Ravens clinch playoff spot

By virtue of a win over the Cleveland Browns and the San Diego Chargers’ loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens are back in the playoffs after a year hiatus. It wasn’t pretty against Cleveland, but the Ravens did just enough to get the final seed in the AFC, which will likely pit them against the winner of the Steelers-Bengals game Sunday evening...
