Justin Bieber’s latest stop on his “Believe” tour took him to Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte where he got to meet one his idols, Michael Jordan, and even snap a few photos. Jordan owns the Charlotte Bobcats who play in the building, so it makes sense he would stick around to check out the Biebs. From the looks of the pictures and Bieber’sTwitter timeline, it seems to be Justin who enjoys the game of basketball, who was definitely in awe.

Charlotte Bobcats or Charlotte Hornets?

So it has come to this. Rick Bonnell is reporting in the Charlotte Observer that polls have gone out to the season ticket holders asking them if they would like to get rid of the current Bobcats name and return to the name of the city’s old franchise. The Charlotte Hornets. Would adopting “Hornets,” the [...]

Byron Mullens could return for Bobcats' five-game road trip

Byron Mullens could return for the Charlotte Bobcats' upcoming five-game road trip, according to Bobcats beat writer Rick Bonnell. The road trip begins Monday at Chicago, so it's conceivable he could be activated for that game. Mullens has been sidelined since December 22 with an ankle sprain. In 27 games, Mullens averaged a respectable 11.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.37...

Bismack Biyombo Invites Harden/Lin To The Block Party

You know? I am starting to think that I need to become a Bobcats fan.  Why do you ask? I don't want to miss this ride.  The Bobcats could be something great one day and I want to be there when it happens.  None of this following your favorite childhood team to mediocrity (Lakers/Celtics).  Instead, jump on board now with Kemba, MKG and the Biz.  I think I'm doing it.

Charlotte Bobcats Survey Fans About Name Change

Will the Hornets return to Charlotte? Now that the New Orleans Hornets have officially announced that they will be changing their name to the New Orleans Pelicans, (State bird or not, I’m still scratching my head at that one) the Charlotte Bobcats have wasted no time gauging fans interest in changing their name back to the Charlotte Hornets. The NBA team has hired market...

Charlotte Bobcats vs. Houston Rockets Review

Another tough NBA fight, another difficult loss for Bobcats fans to swallow. Sure, Charlotte gave Houston a run for it’s money on Monday night, but in the end dropped their second straight game and (once again) started what could develop into another lengthy losing streak. Despite forcing James Harden into difficult shots (he shot just [...]

Good To See Michael Jordan Still Hanging Out With Cartoon Characters

From the Charlotte Bobcats Twitter/Instagram/Pinterest Or Whatever page:PHOTOS: At the arena for his sold out concert, @JustinBieber was excited to meet Bobcats Chairman Michael Jordan“Excited” wasn’t really the word. The word was SWAG, which I’m guessing Justin Bieber only breaks out for situations like meeting the greatest basketball player of all-time, and not for every...

BOBCATS NAP THEIR WAY TO ANOTHER LOSS

Are all of these frustrating losses getting to anyone else?   This is the one. How do you break a fifteen game home court losing streak? What’s the best way to recover from a tough loss where you controlled the pace and led against a stronger team only to have them steal it away in the closing moments? How about a game against a playoffs-bound team that is currently dealing...

Pitino on Chris Jones: As good a guard as I've coached

Rick Pitino has coached some pretty good guards during his nearly 40-year career in college basketball.  Recently at Louisville, there was Russ Smith, the two-time All-American, and Peyton Siva, the point guard who led the Cardinals to a national championship in 2013. He had a host of talented players at Kentucky, too, the school with which he won it all in 1998.  A player currently...

Sherman, on Crabtree: I hope to 'choke him out'

Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman and WR Michael Crabtree treated us to one of most epic battles of the 2013 NFL season in the NFC Championship Game. The two were matched up against each other time and time again, and at the end of the day, Sherman won—tipping a jump-ball to teammate LB Malcolm Smith for the game-securing interception in the red zone. And in watching the two...

LeBron reaching out to players to join him if he leaves Heat?

TweetThe free agent watch focus has shifted from Carmelo Anthony to LeBron James, and we’ve done a good job here of avoiding chasing rumors.
