Pro Sports Daily:
With Dwight Howard having exited Los Angeles for the lower tax rates in Houston and an aging Kobe Bryant attempting to come back after undergoing Achilles surgery many believe the Lakers will suffer through a miserable 2013-14 season.
Canadian point guard Steve Nash believes the Lakers could catch teams off guard though.
“I think everyone’s kind of counting us out which is fine by me” he told NBA.com’s Lang Whitaker Tuesday as the Vancouver Whitecaps’ part owner was set to practice with Italian soccer superpower Inter Milan. “I think it’s good for us to fly under the radar a little bit. We’ve got a lot of new pieces we’ve got guys coming off injuries myself included. So we’ve got to find out where everyone’s health is and then figure out each other and play together and hopefully we can surprise some people.”
Nash was asked what it was like to be around with Bryant.
“I think people kind of know what he’s like” Nash explained. “He’s very single-minded he’s very prepared

A decision has been reached in Steve Nash’s ex-wife Alejandra Amarilla-Nash can move to LA with her three children. In an exclusive, I’ve been alerted that it’s a no-go for Alejandra’s planned move to the City of Angels, with the judge ruling that it wasn’t in the best interest of the children.
There is still however a chance that she will be awarded additional child support...
It is no secret that Steve Nash is a massive soccer fan, he in fact owns a bit of the Vancouver Whitecaps club. Well Steve was granted a “try out” with Italian club Inter Milan this past week and now we have video of the practice session and post practice interview courtesy of The Crossover. Steve definitely looked comfortable out there.

We all know that Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Nash is a pretty big soccer fan and recently, he got the chance to practice with the Italian soccer club Inter Milan.
Inter Milan is in New York to play a friendly and invited the Canadian-born Nash to kick around the ball during a morning practice:
No joke, Nash got some soccer skills….
It remains one of the most hilariously iconic photos from NBA photo lore: The awful photograph taken for a Sports Illustrated article featuring Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki and Mark Cuban wearing cowboy hats. It was taken back during the inception of the Dallas Mavericks Hype Machine, when the Mavs were an up-and-coming team on the [...]The post Steve Nash still haunted by the Dirk...
Dwight Howard did the unthinkable nearly a month ago. He left the city of angels to pair up with rising superstar James Harden. Los Angeles is normally the place where stars go to cement their legacy. Well, Howard went against the grain. It just never seemed to work in L.A. for the 7-time All-Star. Dwight was frustrated for the duration of the season. He didn’t receive the amount...

The Los Angeles Lakers have several players on their roster recovering from injuries over the offseason. Steve Nash broke his leg and faced lingering issues as a result. Los Angeles Lakers: Best and Worst Offseason Moves
By Milan George: Hoopstuff Writer
Best Move: Amnesty of Metta World Peace
-The Lakers needed pieces to improve their bench and team after losing star center, Dwight Howard. With Metta World Peace having an outrageous contract it was clear that the only other big move Mitch Kupchak had to make was using the amnesty clause on Metta...
Mitch Kupchak conducted his first interview since Dwight Howard decided to leave the Los Angeles Lakers to sign with the Houston Rockets.
"It wasn't a surprise. I had a feeling that Houston was a frontrunner, and whenever a player is an unrestricted free agent, anything can happen," Kupchak said. "Clearly, we wanted to keep him here in Los Angeles, and I felt we...
BARCELONA, Spain (AP) -- With Dwight Howard gone and Kobe Bryant injured, Pau Gasol is looking to reassert himself as a leader of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Knees allowing, he wants to be the dominant player of old who helped Bryant & Co. win NBA titles in 2009 and 2010.
"I think I have the most uncertain period behind me," Gasol told The Associated Press on Tuesday...
This NBA off-season has been wildly entertaining. Dwight Howard finally (3 years later) made a decision that actually makes sense for his career, Josh Smith signed with Detroit, the Nets added Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce while the Boston Celtics imploded their roster, and most recently the Pistons performed a sign-and-trade to bring Brandon Jennings into the fold.
Dwight Howard bolted the Los Angeles Lakers for the Houston Rockets, and the perception continues to be that Howard left because he didn’t like head coach Mike D’Antoni‘s system. Well, apparently Howard wasn’t the only L.A. basketball player to desire to leave if he didn’t get his coach — only this one got his way.
Chris Paul threatened the Clippers that he would leave...
The Rockets have gotten Dwight Howard some backup, and a possible rim protector.
