Well, maybe Nate Robinson was just joking around and making fun of Steve Novak, but I'm not. Novak is my legit favorite player in the NBA. By far the best three point shooter around. Novak started doing the title belt celebration after making three pointers last season. Robinson stole his celebration last Friday night after hitting two three pointers in the Bulls win over the Knicks. Novak was asked about the celebration and here's what he had to say.
“Oh man it warms my heart,” Novak said. “It really does. The best part
about doing the belt is hearing the stories of all the little kids
around the world that hit a three-pointer and do the belt. You know, one
day when little Nathan grows up I hope his dreams come true and he can
be just like me.”
"Little Nathan" hahaha. Love it. Don't back down Steve. Robinson responded before leaving an interview with NBA TV on Monday night following
Chicago’s win over the Atlanta Hawks. Robinson gave Novak a shout-out and called him "my favorite player in the whole wide world." Not the biggest war of words ever to come through the NBA, but amusing none the less. Check out the video of the interview below.
Wouldn't mind seeing these two slug it out in a boxing ring one day. I got Novak for a grand.
